Welcome to the website of COPA DEL MAR

We organized – for 20 years – the World Police Futsal Tournaments in Belgium. The editions had a massive response until 120 teams – 1500 participants. Even the event was important for a lot of countries we felt it became too big to organize in the way we wanted it.

 

So we re-invented the structure: a nice medium sized tournament with a lot of nationalities, a variety of 3 age categories, a maximum of accepted teams in each category. A event where people (and the organizers) have the time to find old or new friends. Where there is time and space for a chat, free time and interesting things to see. For that reason we made this tournament a ‘travelling tournament’.

 

COPA DEL MAR offer teams a 5-a-side outdoor tournament on “natural” or “artificial” grass in a country were the sun has a capacity to shine. To keep everybody interested we choose a carrousel of destinations, so we can offer you, outside soccer, the possibility to discover new places.

 

It all started with sparkling Barcelona – Spain in 2010.
After that we’ve been several times in Spain, Portugal , Italy, Greece and Croatia.

The formula must be successful since we receive every year 500 – 700 visitors.
